Jane Hill

Jane has been fortunate to sing in a variety of choirs over the years, from small church groups to larger choral societies and several in between! As a teenager she sang with a group of adults who toured the country to provide the services during cathedral choir holidays and this repertoire remains a firm favourite. Living in Staffordshire for 13 years gave her the chance to sing with Ex Cathedra - before they became a professional choir!
In addition to Vox Anima, Jane has been a member of both The Wealden Consort and Sutton Valence Choral Society for the past 15 years. More recently Jane has enjoyed opportunities to perform a few solos, often during a church celebration, a wedding, funeral or other special event.
Although singing remains her first love, Jane enjoys gardening and cooking. Following her retirement from
primary school teaching, Jane has developed a special affinity for ballroom and Latin dancing. You might see a twinkle in her eye when she talks about it!
